At the beginning of September, Danuta organized the conference of the European Epidermal Barrier Research Network (E2BRN) which took place in Lisbon. The organizing team included the second c-chair of the network, Dr. Ryan O’Shaughnessy (from Queen Mary University of London), and Dr. Sandra Simoes (Universidade de Lisboa) as the local organizer. This was the 21st meeting of this network, which gathers annually. The conference was part of the Congress of the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR).
