On the 26th of June, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr Naveed Akbar, Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Science at the Radcliffe Department of Medicine, University of Oxford (UK). Dr. Akbar presented a fascinating seminar titled: “Extracellular vesicles in cardiometabolic disease, friend or foe”, sharing insights into the role of extracellular vesicles in inflammation, cardiovascular disease, and tissue repair.
The seminar provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, and it was a pleasure to welcome Dr Akbar to our Lab and to Gdańsk!
