On September 3–4, 2026, Prof. Danuta Gutowska-Owsiak and Dr. Aleksandra Siedlar (Sępioł) participated in the final meeting of the European NETSKINMODELS COST Action (CA21108), held at the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria.
The meeting marked the conclusion of a four-year European collaboration dedicated to advancing human skin engineering and modelling. Discussions focused on summarising the network’s achievements, reviewing ongoing activities and identifying priorities for completing the remaining work. An important part of the meeting was also dedicated to exploring opportunities for future collaboration and discussing how to maintain the connections established within the NETSKINMODELS network beyond the end of the COST Action.
It was a valuable opportunity to reflect on four years of joint efforts, exchange perspectives and discuss the next steps for the NETSKINMODELS community.
